Joost Zoeteman Gipsy Swing Quartet

Joost Zoeteman (guitar), Wattie Rosenberg (violin), Martin Limberger (guitar) and Fremdo Rosenberg (double bass).
Joost Zoeteman Joost Zoeteman studied jazz music at the Conservatory of Arnhem, but he decided to quit and to focus on the guitar style of Django Reinhardt. He started playing in 1999 at jazz festivals and clubs in The Netherlands, Belgium and France. One year later, his gypsy jazz band was selected for the final of the Breda Jazz Concours. Joost goes on playing in different bands, before moving to New York in 2003, to take lessons from Peter Leitch and Roni Ben-Hur. At his return he starts again to tour, which brings him even to India and Vietnam.

Nowadays, he’s on the road with his own jazz trio and with the Gypsy Swing Trio, which made a successful tour with the legendary guitar player Tchavolo Schmitt. The new album “Live in Aijen” was very well received by the press,
